I'm a trauma-informed therapist helping you heal, build resilience, and find clarity after life’s hardest moments.
Cary, North Carolina

My path into this work has been shaped by both professional experience and personal understanding of what it means to navigate crisis, identity, and long-term challenges. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a 9-1-1 first responder in North Carolina, supporting people through some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives. That work gave me a deep respect for resilience—and for the importance of having a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Tulane University, specializing in disaster and collective trauma. My clinical approach is trauma-informed and integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, and life transitions, and I have a special passion for supporting first responders, healthcare professionals, and military members.

I also bring lived experience into my work. I live with chronic illness and understand the physical and emotional complexity that can come with it. As someone who was late diagnosed with ADHD and autism, I have a personal appreciation for the process of making sense of your story in a new way—often after years of feeling different, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. These experiences shape how I show up: with curiosity, respect, and a deep belief that your experiences make sense in context.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward at your own pace. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating burnout, exploring identity, or simply trying to get through a difficult season, you don’t have to do it alone.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in deep respect for your lived experience. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—together, we’ll find what works best for you. I integrate evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. At the same time, I focus on helping you reconnect with your values, build self-compassion, and develop practical tools for navigating everyday life. As someone with both professional and lived experience—including work in emergency services, chronic illness, and late-diagnosed ADHD and autism—I approach therapy with curiosity, flexibility, and a deep understanding that your experiences make sense in context. Whether you’re processing trauma, managing anxiety, navigating burnout, or exploring identity, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your story and move toward a life that feels more aligned and sustainable.
